Great video Landon! I know exactly what you’re talking about.
I also get the idea that people do need to kind of fake it till they make it, but then again that doesn’t mean people have to lie either.
I def think it’s important like you said to master a skill BEFORE you start trying to train the world on lead generation.
Anways, good video Landon!
Yeah thats the key to this business, but most people never spend the time mastering skills.
So right now the transparent people that are straight forward and honest will be the ones to dominate this industry : )
Another great ‘tell it like it it’ video! Yep, I agree, master the skill first then share it and don’t make out that you are someone you are not. You nailed it 🙂
Man this is crazy having everyone agree with me! lol I’ve been talking to people about this for the past couple of weeks, and NO ONE has agreed. I could get use to this : ). Thanks for the comment though Kisane!
Fantastic video and so full of truth!! I agree all the way – you have to start by creating value. You sure did with this one, and thanks for the tip on checking out someone who claims to be a guru 😉
Ha ha that’s a faithful trick : ). Just make sure not to discredit people that are giving tips on mindset just because they don’t have a lot of traffic yet. You know what I mean?
Only use it on people that say they have mastered traffic generation.
Great post! If anyone did disagree with you, they would lose any and all credibility with me. You hit it right on the head.
Now the tools like MLSP and T7FN that are out there that can make the average person ‘look’ like a guru are simply that…just tools. It is up to the individual if they want to portray something they are not or present real value and content. The creators of these systems do not teach that.
I think the ones that do try to fake it are the impatient ones. They may feel that they have to put on a show because they do not have full confidence in themselves.
I know when I made my first $1 using T7FN is was ecstatic! It was only $1, but it was $1 I earned because I practiced a skill set and I began to master it! I knew then, that if I can make $1, I can make $10, and $100, and so on…but I wasn’t going to tell folks “I can show you how to make $100,” because I had not made it yet.
That is why it is EXTREMELY critical to master a skill set as soon as possible. That way, no matter what, you know that you have a strategy that produces results. Even if it’s 1 lead per week, that is 1 lead that someone out there does not know how to get yet. That someone will seek you out, because now you’re not teaching people what they could do in theory, you’re teaching them what they can do in real practice…based on the skills YOU currently have…not the guru you learned it from.
If anyone hit the nail on the head it was you my friend with the word “patience”. I just don’t get it lol. I mean people will start a restaurant right, and they will give it five YEARS to make a profit. If they start making a ‘real’ profit that’s noticeable within that time period, they’re doing something right. But when they hop online, they have to get filthy rich within 5 weeks or else they see themselves as a failure.
This is a business like any other. And yeah there are people that make a ton of money in their first 5 weeks, but most of the time it takes some time. I think it’s quicker than starting a brick and mortar business, but still there are a set of skills that need to be learned.
People just need to take the time to learn them. Thanks for the comment Valentino!
Oh, just a little clarification for anyone that may disagree with me. When I say that the creators of these systems “…do not teach that…” I mean that they do not teach their students to fake it till they make it. Just in case there was any confusion, lol.
Great video Landon. We all have to crawl before we can walk, then run in this industry. Keep up the good work!
still a killer vid
