At the time my life was miserable.
I was stuck in a 8 to 5 J.O.B. that I absolutely hated. I couldn’t stand the thing. I would wake up every morning with defeat in my eyes.
I hated it so much that I dreaded going to sleep at night because I knew the sooner I went to bed, the sooner I’d be right back at work.
I didn’t even want to go out because time would go by that much faster. I literally preferred to sit in my room and stare at the wall all weekend just to prolong my time away from work.
But here’s the worst thing about having a job..
You’re sleepy all the time.
I don’t know if you’ve ever had a job before, but I lived my life in a constant state of tired. I never seemed to wake up.
I felt cold, tired, and run-down ALL THE TIME.
It was horrible.
I knew there was a better way. I knew there had to be a way that I could reach my true potential. A way to tell my boss to take a hike. A way to work from the comfort of my own home, a way to relieve the stress of the rat race, and finally live my life with a sense of freedom and control.
Jobs are not what they use to be. They use to be secure. You could work your entire life at one company to retire to a fat pension and gorgeous sunrises.
Not anymore..
..now it has been documented that over 60% of Americans will work past age 65 (that figure is only increasing).
..over 80% of college graduates will not get a job in the field they went to college for
..and over 70% of college graduates will move back in with their parents after graduation.
This form of wealth creation is no longer secure.
The only way to secure your future is to take control of your future.
Knowing this, what did I decide to do..?
The same thing everyone else is doing.
I went online and typed in “make money online”.
That’s when I found the network marketing industry.
So I researched it for weeks. I read a ton of articles with people comparing network marketing companies to pyramid schemes. They were calling all network marketing companies scams. They were saying “nobody makes money in network marketing besides the people at the top”.
There was a TON of negative info.
“Well dangit” I thought “That kills that dream”.
However..
One day I decided to Google the term “Cutco Scam”.
The reason why I did that is because just after high school I was a Cutco rep, a very successful one at that, and I wanted to know what people thought about it.
Do you want to know what most people were saying?
The exact same thing they were saying about network marketing. That it was a huge scam, nobody makes money selling cutco knives, they said, “stay away”.. blah, blah, blah.
That was a huge light bulb moment for me.
How could Cutco be a scam? If I literally had check stubs still sitting on my desk from the year before?
That’s when I realized that network marketing has little to do with the opportunity and everything to do with the person working the opportunity.
The majority of people in Cutco didn’t succeed. It’s a sales job, what do you expect? Not everybody could hack it.
Same goes in network marketing. It’s a business and the people calling it a scam are the people that try it out for 30 days, don’t make any money and quit. That’s not how a successful business operates.
Successful businesses take work and dedication.
But then a few people have this idea in their head that network marketing companies are these massive pyramid schemes.. lol.
How could network marketing companies be pyramid schemes, if every single person that joins has an equal opportunity of making the same income as the person above them?
Monavie. One of the biggest and most prestigious network marketing companies around today. The number one income earner in that company joined a year after it came out. He wasn’t at the top, not even close, but he makes way more money than the people above him.
That’s how good compensation plans, like the one Herbalife has, are built.
Network marketing companies aren’t pyramid schemes. Corporate America is.
In corporate america the people at the top make all the money. In fact, the structure of a corporate company is laid out just like a pyramid. hmm..
I’m not saying that scams in the home business arena don’t exist. They do.
Here’s how you can tell if the company you’re looking into is a scam..
Product line. That’s it. That’s the tell.
Pyramid schemes don’t have products. They just pass money from one person to another, however good network marketing companies, like Herbalife, have a strong product line.
Right now there are about 4,800 legitimate network marketing opportunities.
Herbalife is one of the best. It’s been around for almost 30 years. That’s extremely rare and that shows just how well it was built.
I’m not personally in Herbalife, which is what has allowed me to write this honest review, however I personally know people that are and they are absolutely killing it.
It’s not hard to do, if you know what you’re doing..
